From just one project to start with, Asha Purdue now supports 2 projects in India and have raised $30580 since 2011. We have disbursed $29200 to our projects in 2011-2014. We are currently reviewing more projects to fund in the coming years. Our activities include 5k run, cultural events (Tarang, Tamasha), movie screenings, Global food festival and discussions on education related issues (movies, speakers). We, at Asha-Purdue, are driven by a common desire to make a difference by raising awareness among people about social issues and raising funds to support our projects for unprivileged children back home. We firmly believe in ideas of service, volunteerism and positive outlook towards a better future.
